About Me

I am Nadim Ahmed, lecturer at Independent University, Bangladesh and research fellow at the University of Dhaka. My research interests gradually evolved from computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to scientific machine learning (SciML). The past decade has witnessed phenomenal growth in Artificial Intelligence (AI), yet its real-world implementation demands robustness and safety. Addressing these challenges in unstructured environments might be achieved by exploiting learning and data-driven control. With a background in Applied Mathematics and research experience in CFD simulation, physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), and deep operator networks (DeepONets), I can hardly wait to delve into and contribute to the emerging mythologies in learning and data-driven control.

Research Interests:

  • Learning and data-driven control
  • Physics-informed machine learning (PIML)
  • Deep reinforcement learning (DRL)
  • Robustness and safety in AI
